Electric fault Mark 1 Discovery

Postby Lutkins » Sat Jul 29, 2017 10:29 am

Rev counter on my Discovery operates intermittently for a minute or two then shuts down. When not operating, battery light comes on, goes off again if rev counter kicks in. Any answers to this problem please.

Definately the spade connector or a break in the wire.

Agree with alternator wire mine did this the same thing. I used pliers and tighten the connector a bit and never had another problem.
