Hello Guest
You are correct about the early production V8 Discoverys only on carbs, but if you have a G reg. V8i, it may be a factory experimental car.
We, at the Project Jay Preservation Group, have two G reg. 5-door pre-pros with V8i engines.
Does it have a coventry registration number?
Do keep in touch.
Roy Preston.

Hello fellow land Rover owners,
I’m wondering if anyone can confirm the fact wich I belive is: That the Discovery1 didn’t got EFI on their V8’s before the H model year ( 90-91) and not G model year (89-90) wich they used twin SU’s. The reason I’m asking is that I’m looking at a G model year 3 door wich in its VIN production number has a L wich acording to a Land Rover VIN code decoder says it has a fuel injection V8.
Thanks in advance :)
