The Project Jay Preservation Group have taken stand space at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show - With Discovery, at the NEC on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 23rd 25th March.
The show organisers encourage clubs to show work in progress, so we hope to show G478WAC as a rolling chassis, she is currently undergoing ‘body off’ restoration at Mark’s place in Devon.
The space is a bit tight, but we should be able to squeeze in five Discoverys, which will include the prototype, C742HUH, owned by Charles Whitaker, G253RFL, owned by member Ian Phillips (he had his D5 on show at Peterborough), G478WAC, my rolling chassis, also G226EAC and G513DHP, the pre-pros owned by our group.
Back copies of Discourse will be available on the stand, and membership forms will be there to encourage prospective members join the DOC.
Members are welcome to visit us and spread the word about the DOC.
